Lack of continuity in policy formulation and implementation in Nigeria dominated the discourse at the investiture of Dr. Cletus Akenbor, a senior lecturer at Federal University Otuoke as Fellow of Strategic Institute for Natural Resources and Human Development.
Presenting a paper tagged “Challenges and Implementations of the New Democratic Dispensation, Nigeria Business and Leadership” the Zonal Coordinator, Strategic Institute for Natural Resources and Human Development, Mr. Samuelson Ejiogu argued that diversification of Nigeria’s economy will enhance sustainable development.
The Zonal Coordinator advised that the country should look elsewhere rather than rely solely on Petroleum mono-economy which according to him could be catastrophic on the economy if fluctuations in international price of oil arise.
Mr. Ejiogu noted that Nigerian government should stop paying lip service to the Agricultural sector but expand it, pointing out that the country has enough mineral resources that can engage youths meaningfully if properly harnessed.
Speaking with FUO media shortly after his investiture, Dr, Cletus Akenbor commended the Vice Chancellor, Federal University Otuoke, Prof. Mobolaji Aluko and other Management Staff for giving him the opportunity to serve the University which enable him achieve the feat.
Dr. Akenbor who said the award is attributed to his commitment to duty and service to humanity advised all stakeholders in the country to work towards achieving
sustainable development that will help future generations.

Dr. Cletus Akenbor is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance, Federal University Otuoke. He holds a first degree in Accountancy, two Masters degrees and two Doctorate degrees from reputable Nigerian Universities.
The Award recipient is also a member of various professional bodies in the country and has about 70 Publications to his credit.
