CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
Applications are invited from members of staff who wish to access fund for the following listed activities under the TETFund 2013 and 2014 Interventions.
- YEAR 2013 INTERVENTION
After disbursements to awardees in various programmes, funds are still available in the following 2013 interventions and for the category of staff indicated.
- Institutional Based Research (IBR) - Batch 2 - (Academic Staff ONLY)
- Academic Staff Training & Development (AST&D) – Batch 2 (Academic Staff ONLY)
- Publication of Journals – Batch 2 (Academic Staff ONLY)
- Conference Attendance - Batch 3 (Academic Staff ONLY)

- YEAR 2014 INTERVENTION
The fund allocated for this Intervention has not been accessed.
- Institutional Based Research (IBR) – Batch 1 (Academic Staff ONLY)
- Academic Staff Training & Development (AST&D) – Batch 1 (Academic Staff ONLY)
- Academic Research Journals (ARJ) – Batch 1 (Academic Staff ONLY)
- Manuscript Development – Batch 1 (Academic Staff ONLY)
- Conference Attendance (CA) – Batch 1 (Academic & Non-Academic Staff)

- THE NATIONAL RESEARCH FUND
Unlike the Institutional Based Research (IBR) which specifies a maximum of Two Million per research project, the National Research Fund (NRF) can accommodate research projects that are capital intensive. Three main areas of interest are Humanities & Social Sciences, Science and Technology & Innovation and Cross-Cutting. Interested staff are kindly advised to refer to the Guidelines for Accessing TETFund National Research Fund for details.
Announcements for Applications are usually made in January of each year. The NRF office has been contacted for an update and they confirmed that the necessary memo would be sent out to universities shortly.
