Mechatronics, Indulstrial And Marine Engineering Workshop, Fully Equipped - Dean.

One of the departments in the engineering faculty in Federal University Otuoke is now fully equipped as the faculty gears up towards commencing academic activities.
Mechatronics, Industrial and Marine Engineering has received engineering equipments in its workshop, making it functional for smooth take off of practicals in engineering studies.
Dean faculty of engineering, Prof Steve Nwabuzor, disclosed this on March 31st 2016, at the maiden meeting between faculty staff and the Vice Chancellor, Prof Seth Accra_Jaja.
According to the Dean, the faculty has three departments:
- Civil and Environmental Engineering
- Chemical, Petroleum and Gas Engineering and
- Mechatronics, Industrial and Marine Engineering.
Although the faculty is yet to fully take off with academic studies, the Dean expressed eagerness for things to take proper shape within the faculty in that regard.
The Acting Dean faculty of Business and management Sciences, Dr Francis Oluleye at their meeting with the VC appealed for the recruitment of more teaching staff in the faculty, and commencement of academic activities in the department of management information system and Business Administration.
He informed the Vice Chancellor that presently the faculty has 3 departments :
- Accounting and Finance
- Business and Administration
- Management and Information system.
