Forging Mutual Alliance – Indigenous Contractor Donates To FUO.

A furniture company, T.M. Goto Wood Works at Agbura in Yenagoa Council area of Bayelsa State has donated furniture to Federal University Otuoke as a give-back-gesture to the new Institution.
Presenting the furniture which include; two lecture podiums and a book shelf worth thousands of naira. The donor Mr. Obidiowei Tryon said the donation is his way of investing in the Institution after winning a TETFUND contract from the University.
T.M Goto Wood Works built all the furniture at FUO Journal Office, which Dr. Felina Nwadike and Dr. Evans Eze who are in charge of the Office, commended the company for quality job delivery.
According to them, the gesture is mutually beneficial to both parties as a way of ensuring contractors give back to the University unconditionally.
Receiving the donation, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Seth Accra-Jaja thanked the donor, expressing optimism that other contractors who have benefited from the University follow suit.
Commending TM Goto Wood Works for a quality job, Prof. Accra-Jaja used the occasion to note that the University will continue to engage the services of local contractors as a way of empowering them.
Positing that the University will not compromise standards, the VC assured that more indigenous contractors will benefit from the Institution.
