The Chairman, Governing Council, Federal University Otuoke, Senator Gbemisola Saraki says efforts are being made to reposition the new university to achieve the objectives of its founding fathers.
Senator Saraki disclosed this while addressing various labour unions in the university, during the first visit of the newly constituted governing council of the university.
She commended the sacrifices made by staff and students working in an environment she described as challenging without the desired incentives to motivate them.
The governing council Chairman assured that all members of the council will ensure they use both their local and international contacts to attract investors to the university.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Seth Accra Jaja, who expressed optimism for the visit, noted that it is a sign of good things to come to the institution.
