The Vice chancellor Federal University Otuoke Prof. Seth Accra Jaja assured of strengthening the existing cordial relationship with the United Bank of Africa.
Prof. Accra Jaja said this when management of the bank led by Mr. Ndubuisi Ogu paid a familiarization visit to him in his office at Otuoke.
The Vice Chancellor who said he runs an open door administration enjoined the bank executives that his administration will welcome any advice that will help the new institution grow.
Speaking earlier, the leader of the team Mr. Ndubuisi Ogu said the bank can offer service to the University on control over contractors as part of adding value to the system.
Ogu noted that the University and his bank have been in a relationship which led to the establishment of UBA branch in the University to meet up with the banking needs of the people within and outside the University community.
He also declared the bank’s intention to get investors on Agricultural projects which he said can serve as internally generated revenue to the University if the institution can provide a support base.
