The Centre for Continuing Education became a model among Continuing Education Centres in Nigerian universities and polytechnics when the National Universities Commission (NUC) approved an additional nine programmes to the initial nine programmes it started with. Many thanks to the present Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Teddy Charles Adias, for ensuring that all resources needed for the smooth running of the Centre are provided.
The Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), Federal University Otuoke was established in 2020 by the Senate of the University. The Centre provides comprehensive education for contemporary competence in specific disciplines. The programmes are designed for candidates who, by reason of their work and other factors, are unable to undertake full-time studies in universities. The Centre offers courses in five (5) Faculties, namely Education, Humanities, Management Sciences, Science, Social Sciences.
