The Faculty also has the Department of Mathematical, Computer and Physical Sciences which has three Programmes: Computer Science and Informatics, Mathematics and Statistics and Physics with Electronics and Power.
Our programmes are expected to make our students trained in the field of Computing and Informatics, Mathematical and Statistical analysis and also in Physics, Electronics and Power related studies. It is worthy of note that they are also taught courses in Social Sciences, Entrepreneurial and General Studies.
Presently, the Department has 248 students. Computer Science and Informatics has 137, Mathematics and Statistics has 45 and the other 66 in Physics with Electronics and Power.
The Staff population is 38 staff of which 40 percent are Academic, 21 Technologists, 10 Administrative and 29 Support staff.
The Department is located in a serene environment for teaching and learning with a well equipped Physics and Computer Laboratories for practical courses.
