DR. EJOVI OSIOMA
BRIEF PROFILE
Dr. Ejovi Osioma has acquired B.Sc (Delta State University, Nigeria), M.Sc (Delta State University, Nigeria) and Ph.D (University of Ilorin, Nigeria).
The immediate goal of my research is to develop biomarkers of exposure in aquatic (Clarias gariepinus, Galatea paradoxa) and terrestrial (Lumbricus terrestris) organisms. I investigate various aspects of the interaction between these organisms with pollutants from crude oil exploration environments, charcoal production sites and glyphosate herbicide.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Biochemical effects of environmental pollutants of antioxidant enzymes, biotransformation enzymes and non – microsomal enzymes, including Malaria Research.
