Committed to continuous learning and development while making significant contributions to the field of financial accounting and corporate reporting. Joy Ochuole Odey is pursuing a PhD Accounting in Niger Delta University (NDU) Wilberforce Island Bayelsa State, Nigeria. She holds a Master Degree in Accounting and PGD Accounting & Finance both from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, Kaduna State and BSc Accounting Education from Imo State University Owerri (IMSU) Imo State, Nigeria. Joy Ochuole Odey is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Sciences, Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa State with administrative experience as faculty examination officer and faculty conference publicity committee member and have participation in national and international conferences and workshops that addressed critical issues in sustainable economic development, subsidy removal in the petroleum industry and other pertinent topics. Joy Ochuole Odey is a researcher with numerous publications in esteemed journals in financial accounting, environmental accounting and internal control and auditing. Joy also has almost a decade experience in the banking industry and auditing firm in her earlier career. Joy Ochuole Odey is a dedicated professional with a passion for academic excellence, research, and community service. With a solid foundation in accounting and finance, coupled with a commitment to continuous learning and development, Joy is poised to make significant contributions to the advancement of knowledge and practice in Nigeria and beyond
