Captain N. Iyalla

I am a native of Nembe, in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. I was born and bred in Port Harcourt Township and acquired Primary and secondary education in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. I then moved to Owerri, Imo State for my undergraduate studies at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri between 2001 and 2006 where I bagged a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, with bias in Automotive Engineering Technology. I also had some industrial experience in Epenal Boat building Company and the then Eleme Petrochemicals Company Limited during my SIWES programme. In the year 2012 I secured the Overseas Student Scholarship awarded by the Petroleum Training and Development Fund which enabled me travel to acquire postgraduate education in Coventry University, United Kingdom. After the one year duration of training, I was awarded a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in the year 2013. I am currently married with two daughters and member of the academic team in the department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa State.
