DR. CHINONYE OLUCHI EZENWAKA
Brief Profile
Dr. Ezenwaka, an astute academic and researcher, obtained her B.Sc. Zoology (Second Class Upper Division (Hons.) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria. She obtained both her M. Sc. in Environmental Parasitology and Ph.D. in Parasitology, from University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. She started working with Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa State in 2015. She is a renowned researcher and had contributed to the growth and development of the institution in several capacities. These include: Course / Level Adviser to students; Departmental Examination Officer, Departmental Representative in University Timetable Committee; Member, Biology Department Accreditation Committee; Member, Faculty of Sciences Research and Innovation Committee; Member, Science Journal Committee. She is currently coordinating Post Graduate matters in Biology Department. She has supervised several undergraduates’ projects and seminars. She has made several academic publications in National and International Journals. She has attended several academic conferences, workshops and seminars. She is a renowned public speaker with interest in knowledge sharing, coaching and mentoring. She is currently the Matron, Biology Students Association (BIOSA) of the Federal University Otuoke Chapter. Her research interest is in the area of Environmental and Public Health Parasitology. Dr. Ezenwaka is a member of several Professional Bodies in Nigeria such as Parasitology and Public Health Society of Nigeria (PPSN) and Zoological Society of Nigeria (ZSN).
