BRIEF PROFILE

Dr. Eni-yimini Solomon Agoro holds a bachelor’s degree (B.MLS) in Medical Laboratory Science specializing in Chemical Pathology from the Rivers State University, Nkpolu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He went further to bag double masters in Chemical Pathology and Forensic Toxicology from the Rivers State University, Nkpolu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State respectively. His quest for a grasp of empirical science spurred him to bag a Ph.D in Toxicology from the Abia State University Uturu, Abia State. Also to his academic kitty are the Fellowship of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (FMLSCN) in Chemical Pathology, Fellowship of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (FAMLSN), and the Fellowship of the West African Postgraduate College of Medical Laboratory Science (FWAPCMPLS) in Forensic Science. Dr. Eni-yimini is also a member of the Nigeria Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NSBMB), Association of Clinical Chemists of Nigeria (ACCN), Society of Forensic and Analytical Scientists of Nigeria (SFASN), Society of Toxicology (SOT), West African Society of Toxicology (WASOT), Australian and New Zealand Society of Forensic Scientists (ANSFS) and many more. He has published widely with over 70 articles in both local and international journals of repute and presented papers in several conferences and workshops. Also to his credit are an IBR and NRF grants.

Dr Eni-yimini is a recipient of the fellowship of the Institute of Corporate Administration (FCAI) and has held several offices in the university system such as pioneer Coordinator/ head of the Department of Nursing Science, the Department of Human Anatomy, the Department of Human Physiology and the Department of Medical Laboratory Science. Presently, he is the Ag. Dean, Faculty of Medical Laboratory Science and the Deputy Director, Directorate of Research and Quality Assurance (DR&QA).
