DR. FELIX O. U. ORIAKHI

Dr. Felix O. U. Oriakhi, the Acting Director of the Consultancy Unit holds a B.A. (Hons) degree in Philosophy from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He also holds Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Political Science (with specialization in International Relations) from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria.
A veteran Nigerian journalist and human rights activist before coming to academia, Dr. Oriakhi started his academic career at the Benson Idahosa University, Benin City, where he taught Political Science for well over a decade. He joined the service of Federal University Otuoke in October, 2014 as a Senior Lecturer. Dr. Oriakhi is currently an Associate Professor of International Relations in the Department of Political Science of the University. Before he was appointed as Acting Director of the Consultancy Unit, he was the Founding Acting Head of the Department of Political Science of the University.
