Dr. Ijoko Gregory Agu

IJOKO, Gregory Agu (Ph. D) hails from Ogoho-Ijegu, Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State. He had his primary and secondary education in his home town Ijegu and Gabu- Yala respectively. He proceeded to Federal College of Education, Obudu, Cross River State where he was awarded Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in English (DM), School of Languages; University of Port Harcourt, Choba, Port Harcourt, Rivers State where he obtained his first degree BA. Ed (Educational Foundation/English Studies) and degree of Master of Education (M. Ed) in Language Education, Department of Curriculum Studies and Educational Technology. Then, he later proceeded to Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt, Rivers State where he obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D) in language Education, Department of Curriculum Studies and Instructional Technology. IJOKO, Gregory Agu is a lecturer in the Department of Arts Education, Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa State. He is a brilliant, creative and resourceful scholar. He is a member of professional bodies like: Association of Teachers in Tertiary Institutions of Nigeria (ASSOTTIN), Association for Academic Review and Development (AARD), Association for Progressive and Alternative Education in Nigeria (ASPROAEDIN), etc. He is a trained teacher and has practiced teaching at all levels of education in Nigeria with a certified certificate of membership of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). He has published articles in reputable journals in both local and international; published book chapters in different academic books; and attended and presented papers in both national and international conferences.
