DR. ISIYA OKI TORUTEIN
BRIEF PROFILE
Dr. Isiya Oki Torutein is a lecturer and member of the Faculty of Management Sciences, Federal University Otuoke, who hails from Akaba Town in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Insurance and Risk Management (B.Sc.) in 2005 and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Insurance and Risk Management in 2015 all at Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUTECH). He furthered his academic pursuits to a Ph.D. in Banking and Finance in 2023 at Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State, Nigeria. He is a professional member to several academic bodies including Associate member of Institute of Financial and Investment Analysts of Nigeria (CIFIAN), Full Membership of Institute of National Economist of Nigeria (INEN), Risk Managers Society of Nigeria (RIMSON), among others. He also serve as the Department of Banking and Finance Examination Officer and General Students Adviser. He is married with children.
