DR. JONATHAN BARILE GONEE

BRIEF PROFIILE 

My name is Jonathan Barile Gonee, a native of Bunu-Bangha in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State. I was born on the 22^nd of January, 1967 and married with three children.

Got my B.Sc in 2006 and Masters in 2013, all in Public Administration from Imo State University Owerri. Secured admission in the 2018/2019 academic session with the University of Port Harcourt to do my PhD in Political and Administrative Studies. Rounded off my programme by successfully defending my thesis on the 24^th of August, 2022.

Worked in the Security Department of Exxonmobil for over two decades and rose to the rank of supervisor. Have also had part-time lecturing job with Imo State University Owerri, Eket study centre for some years before being offered an appointment as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social Sciences in Federal University Otuoke on the 7^th of July, 2023.

I became a member of the Institute of Industrial Security and Safety of Nigeria (IISSN) on 25^th July, 2013 and a student Member of the Nigerian Political Science Association (NPSA) South-South Zone on March 15^th 2021.

I have a bias for English Language and a knack for telling stories, hence the vast number of unpublished plays in my Kitty today.
