Brief Profile

Dr (Mrs.) Ndipmong Augustine Udoh obtained her B. Ed. in Applied Mathematics in 1997, from the University of Ibadan, M. Sc. in Applied Mathematics in 2010 from the University of Port Harcourt, and Ph. D. in Applied Mathematics in 2020 from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt, all in Nigeria.

Before joining the Federal University Otuoke, she has served in several administrative positions at the University of Port Harcourt Demonstration Secondary School, (UDSS), including the office of the Vice Principal (Administration) from 2019 to 2021 when she resigned her appointment for FUO, Bayelsa State.

She has received specialized training in Artificial Intelligence (AI) from the Virtual Institute for Capacity Building in Higher Education (VICBHE-2024), MATLAB Tutorial Series (2023), Exchange Program Window (DAAD, 2022), University Leadership Capacity Building Workshop (2021), etc. She has also received awards for Distinction in Project from VICBHE, Brilliant Performance (in external exams) and Effective Teaching in Mathematics and Further Mathematics (2011 to 2016). She has also served as an examiner for WASSCE and NECO. She has authored several journal articles and conference papers in the field of mathematics and applied sciences. Additionally, she coordinates community youths/teens and student groups for moral development activities. She is also an Ordained (Assistant) Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, the office she serves voluntarily.

Dr. Ndipmong   is a member of the National Association of Artificial Intelligence Practitioners (NAAIP), Association of Mathematical Sciences and Optimization (AMSO), Mathematics Association of Nigeria (MAN), and National Mathematics Society (NMS).

RESEARCH INTERESTS: Numerical Analysis and Computational Mathematics with interest in climate change, environmental, agriculture and biodiversity conservation models.
