DR. UKEH BARTHOLOMEW OLUCHI
Dr. Ukeh, Bartholomew Oluchi is a lecturer in the Department of Science Education, Faculty of Education, Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa State, Nigeria. He had his higher education from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Enugu where he obtained hisBachelor’s degree in Computer Science Education (B.Sc Ed. (Hons) – 2010), Master’s degree in Computer Science Education (M.Sc, 2016) andPh.D degree in Computer Science Education in 2020.
Dr. Ukeh has special interest in students’ research/data analysis at the Undergraduate, Master’s and Doctorate levels. In particular, he has been involved in teaching a wide range of courses in Computer Science Education ranging from Computer Networking, Programming Language, Software Project Management, Artificial Intelligence, Database Management System to Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) which has enabled him to guide student learning in the knowledge, skills, dispositions, and applications of research-based methodologies to the coursework at all levels. He has a strong passion for teaching, comprehensive knowledge of programming languages, strong communication skills, strong problem solving abilities, always prepared for continuous improvement and highly approachable.
Dr. Ukeh B. Oluchi is a member Computer Educators Association of Nigeria (CEAN). His expertise and dedication make him an invaluable asset to any educationalinstitution aiming to provide high-quality Computer Science Education. His commitment to research andcommunity engagement further enriches his contributions to the field.
RESEARCH INTEREST:
Dr. Ukeh’s research interest is on Computer Science Education pedagogy, curriculum development and assessment methods. He also has special interest in active participation in conferences and publications in renowned journals within the field. He intends to work on projects aimed at improving diversity and inclusion in computer science education.
