Engr. Baridor S. Odagme is a dynamic Petroleum Engineer, focused on innovative research and development of skilled and equipped manpower, for the global ever-changing petroleum industry. Applies His wealth of experiences, good computer programming and communication skills in achieving corporate goals, open to new ideas and new technologies, relentless in research and problem solving.
Engr. B.S Odagme holds both His Bachelor of Engineering (B.ENG) and Masters of Engineering (M.ENG) in 2014 and 2018 respectively with specialization in Drilling and Well Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He is currently a PhD student in the World Bank Center of Excellence for Oil field chemicals University of Port Harcourt. He has authored and co-authored more than 26 Articles and technical papers that have been published in International Journals and conference proceedings which are well cited by many International Scholars and recognized on Google scholar, Academia, ResearchGate, www.onepetro.org and many other research database.
Engr. Odagme is loaded with extensive industry experience enabling him to blend theory with actual field experience. He worked with Shell Aret Adams as a Drilling/Geomechanics Engineer for Well Design and Construction between 2013 –2016 and undertook several industry research projects with the team of Shell Aret Adam’s research center University of Port Harcourt., within that period with remarkable breakthroughs well published. He further worked for Global Petroleum Resources as a Production Engineer between 2016 – 2018 as an expert in Production Optimization licensed with Petroleum Expert. Engr.B.S.Odagme is currently a Lecturer with Federal University Otuoke where He teaches, conducts several ground-breaking researches in Well Engineering, Gas Utilization, Application of Mechine learning in Well Engineering and Renewable Energy in the department of Petroleum and Gas Engineering from 2019 till date. He is a Drilling Consultant for ALMART Oil and Gas Company.
Engr.Odagme is a recognized international expert in Well Engineering in the special area of Drilling, Geomechanics and wellbore stability. Registered and licensed Engineer with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Member Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), a Professional Member of Society of Petroleum Engineering International (MSPEI) among others.
