ENGR. Prof. Agarry S. Enahoro
Engr. Prof. Agarry is a Professor of Chemical Engineering with bias in Biochemical and Bioenvironmental Engineering at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso and is presently spending his sabbatical leave in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Federal University, Otuoke where he is currently the Head of Department. He has over 20 years of cognate experience in professional practice which cut across the beverage industry and the academia. He is a lecturer who have taught in some other universities on part-time basis. He has also held different administrative positions in the university system. He has made significant contributions to extensive research and development of soil and water bioremediation, wastewater treatment, bioenergy/biofuel, and drying of fruits and vegetables. He has supervised over 200 undergraduate projects and 15 postgraduate (Masters and PhD) thesis. Engr. Prof. Agarry earned his degrees from the University of Benin, Benin-City where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree (Honours) in Biochemistry, Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Chemical Engineering, Masters of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Chemical Engineering, and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical Engineering in 1989, 1994, 1995 and 2013, respectively. He has published over 100 articles in learned national and Scopus-indexed international journals with high impact factors. He is an active member of several professional bodies such as Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), Nigeria Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE), Society of Petroleum Engineers and a registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
