
Engr. Samuel V. Kikilee
My name is Samuel V. Kikile. I am from Yenagoa Town, in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. My academic background is Computer Engineering (BSc, Computer Engineering and MSc, Computer Engineering) from the Moscow Power Engineering Institution (MPEI) in the Russian Federation. Additionally, I have MSc in Software Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, Offshore Technology Institute (OTI), Rivers State, Nigeria.
Currently, I lecture at the Federal University Otuoke in the Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering Department. My core subjects are Software Engineering and Computer Programming. So far, it has been three years since I started.
Although my academic exploits have journeyed me to research on Data Acquisition Systems with specific attention to Digital Signal Processing and Programming in High Level Languages such as C, C++ and C#, my present research interest is in using Computer Modelling and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance and drive Institutional and Organisational Policy Formulation and Frameworks.
Prior to my present engagement in the teaching profession, I have had the privilege of working and subsequently interning at the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC), as a Production Technician and as a member of the SUBSEA team of the AGBAMI project in Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL). I have a couple of government appointments and had the privilege of working in a couple of committees.
Having studied, worked and interacted with people of varying backgrounds, nationalities and persuations, I have confidence in my capability to work in teams. I have high analytic competence and the ability to function productively as an individual if the need so demands.
My hobbies are reading autobiographies, documentaries and technology books; coding for fun, reading political and business magazines, and jogging.

Using Artificial Intelligence and Computer Modelling to drive and Shape institutional policy formations.
