Dr. Patricia Ngozi Anyanwu is a Senior lecturer in, and acting Head of the Department of English and Communication Studies at the Federal University Otuoke in Bayelsa State, Nigeria. She received her BA (English) from the University of Lagos and her PGDE, MA (English) and PhD. (English) from the University of Port Harcourt. With research interests in Postcolonial Studies, Feminism, Literary Criticism and Cultural Studies, she has authored many papers in reputable local and international journals. She has attended and actively participated in many local and international conferences, including the United Nations Conference on Gender Equality in New York. She is a member of many relevant professional associations, including West African Association of Common Wealth Literature and Language Studies (WAACLALS), Linguistic Association of Nigeria (LAN), Literary Society of Nigeria (LSN) and Youth Enhancement Organization International (YEOI). Dr. Ngozi Anyanwu is the Editor-in-Chief of Otuoke Language and Communication Review (OLACORE), a publication of the Department of English and Communication Studies at the Federal University Otuoke. She is married with children.
