HOD of History and International Studies

Dr. Ikaonaworio Eferebo is a Senior Lecturer in, and Acting Head of the Department of History and International Studies at the Federal University Otuoke in Bayelsa State, Nigeria. He holds a B.ED (History & Education) from the University of Ibadan, MA and PhD from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He is very well published and participates actively in the professional associations he belongs to, including the Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN). He has published many papers in reputable local and International Journals. He has attended an actively participated in many local and international conferences. Research interests: African Political History, Development Studies, and Cultural Studies. Dr. Eferebo is married with children.
