Director, Students’ Industrial work Experience Scheme (SIWES)
Prof. Mbosowo Monday Etukudo is a Professor of Plant Physiology and currently lecturing at the Department of Biology, Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa State. He has the following Academic qualifications: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc Hons) Degree in Botany (Second Class Upper Division) -University of Uyo-1997; Master of Science (M.Sc) Degree in Botany,-Plant Physiology-University of Uyo-2002 and Ph.D Degree in Botany-Plant Physiology (Plant Tissue Culture)-University of Calabar-2010. He had served as the pioneer Head, Department of Biology (2016-2020), and is the current Director, Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES), Federal University Otuoke. He has served as an internal member Governing Council, representing Senate, Federal University Otuoke. In addition to his commendable lecturing and administrative experiences garnered from the above institution, he had lectured at the Department of Plant Science and Biotechnology, University of Port Harcourt, and had served as a Part time Lecturer at the Department of Biology, Akwa Ibom State College of Education, together with his service at Institute of Education, University of Calabar, Cross River State. He is a member of various professional bodies, and a Fellow of the Society for Agriculture, Environmental Resources and Management. He has published widely in both international and national Journals. Moreover, he is a member of Editorial Board in several learned national and international Journals. He has much research potentials to be desired with specific contributions to knowledge in the field of Plant physiology, Plant Tissue culture, Pollution and Remediation studies.
